The office of Graduate Medical Education at the School of Medicine & Dentistry and the Warner School of Education & Human Development received a 2026 Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation Catalyst Award to run a multi-year initiative to optimize resident and fellow performance in high-stakes evaluations through a biopsychosocial lens. The program will equip trainees with evidence-based strategies to bring their performance in line with their knowledge, understanding, and capabilities. Residents and fellows interested in participating in the program can fill out this survey.

Open to all URochester instructors, this Teaching Center Zoom workshop explores educational frameworks for generative AI to assist instructors in identifying useful principles and approaches to their teaching. Register to attend from noon to 1 p.m. on either Thursday, February 26, or Friday, February 27.

The Mail, Copy, and Print Office at the Medical Center will be closed on Friday, February 27, to move back to its regular, renovated location in G-5142 (old post office). Regular hours (Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) resume on Monday, March 2, for departmental mail pick-ups, copy and print order pick-ups, and retail window services.

Registration is now open for Strong Recovery’s 14th annual Joseph Ryan Conference, “Reimagining Recovery Through Creativity, Spirituality, and Alternative Therapies,” on Friday, April 24. This conference focuses on integrating alternative therapies and spirituality with traditional therapy models to help clients achieve deeper, more holistic, and more sustainable recovery. Early registration pricing is available until March 3.

Students can join the Fellowships Office for a Fulbright 101 information session to learn the basics of the Fulbright US Student Program on Thursday, February 26. The Fellowship Office also hosts a general information session on national and international student awards on Friday, February 27, from noon to  1:15 p.m. in Dewey Hall, Room 2-1162.

Undergraduate students trying to motivate themselves to finish strong can join a discussion-based workshop on strategies to cope with burnout and practice good academic skills in their last semester. The workshop takes place on Friday, February 27, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Douglass Commons, Room 401.

The Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center hosts the semester’s first BIC-TURE This: Art-Making Workshop on Friday, February 27, at 7 p.m., open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
