University flags on the Eastman Quadrangle and near the entrance of Strong Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department, and the flags atop the Eastman Theatre at the corner of Gibbs and Main Streets, will be lowered on Thursday, April 23, for Roger Boulay, a professor emeritus of medicine, who died on March 10. Boulay joined the University in 1989.

Simon Business School has forged partnerships with five colleges and universities, enabling students at those institutions to earn a master’s degree in business in just one year after completing their undergraduate studies through Simon’s accelerated 4+1 Business Master’s Pathway program. The partner institutions are the State University of New York at Geneseo, Ursinus College, Union College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and the College of Wooster.

Bridget Fleming, a PhD candidate in the visual and cultural studies program, has been named the first recipient of the Douglas Crimp Fellowship. This prestigious award was established to honor the legacy of the late Douglas Crimp, a foundational figure in art history, queer theory, and HIV/AIDS activism.
