The 15th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day is today, May 21, and the digital accessibility team in University Marketing and Communications invites all faculty and staff to participate in the Digital Accessibility Awareness Survey. Your feedback will help increase awareness of accessibility best practices across the University and identify opportunities for future training, resources, and support.

Faculty and staff are also encouraged to join a free two-hour live accessibility training event offered by digital accessibility partner Deque, or to explore the free “Digital Accessibility for Content Creators” course available in MyPath. These opportunities are designed to help faculty and staff better understand digital accessibility and learn practical ways to create more accessible digital content and experiences.

The School of Nursing is now accepting applications for its nurse anesthesia doctoral program, with an August 31 deadline for the summer 2027 semester. The new, full-time program creates a pathway for registered nurses to pursue one of healthcare’s most in-demand subfields. It will provide a boost to the anesthesiology workforce in the face of national shortages.
