{"id":47356,"date":"2020-08-28T14:37:45","date_gmt":"2020-08-28T18:37:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/coronavirus-update\/?p=47356"},"modified":"2022-02-10T14:43:27","modified_gmt":"2022-02-10T19:43:27","slug":"goergen-athletic-center-reopens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/coronavirus-update\/goergen-athletic-center-reopens\/","title":{"rendered":"Goergen Athletic Center reopens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> On November 23, with the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/coronavirus-update\/what-the-nys-orange-zone-means-for-the-university\/\">Orange Zone regulations<\/a> in place, the Goergen Athletic Center is now closed.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Goergen Athletic Center (GAC) has reopened for use by <strong>full-time students only<\/strong>. The facility is not available for faculty, staff, or guest use until further notice. This decision is in-line with New York State guidelines permitting gyms to reopen.<\/p>\n<p>Strict occupancy limits are in place, requiring reservations for use of the Bloch Fitness Center.
