As an update to the\u00a0vaccination information<\/a> provided in recent weeks, University and UR Medicine faculty, staff and students who are 30 years or older can register to be vaccinated through the Medical Center. New York State expanded its guidance yesterday to include this eligible age group.<\/p>\n

Vaccination pre-registration is required through a\u00a0URMC waitlist<\/a>; remember, the Medical Center\u2019s ability to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to faculty, staff, and students is at the direction of New York State and varies with the supply of vaccine made available to URMC each week.<\/p>\n

New York State also announced yesterday that individuals 16 and older will be eligible to be vaccinated beginning April 6. Further guidance will be provided to students in the coming days on the best ways to obtain their vaccination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
