COVID health and safety protocols for the on-campus events are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Face masks are required for indoor ceremonies and events, consistent with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/coronavirus-update\/face-masks\/\">existing University policies<\/a>. Speakers for the indoor ceremonies may remove masks while speaking at the podium.<\/li>\n<li>Face masks are optional for the Commencement ceremony on May 13 and all outdoor Commencement events and activities, including tented events.<\/li>\n<li>Face mask policies apply to all students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests\u2014including those who are fully vaccinated and boosted.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of vaccination is <strong>not required<\/strong> to attend the University\u2019s indoor or outdoor ceremonies.<\/li>\n<li>Family members assisting students in moving out of their campus residence will need to be masked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/commencement\/\">Commencement website<\/a> and reference <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/commencement\/class-of-2022\/faqs\/\">Commencement FAQs<\/a> for additional event information and details for guests.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Commencement weekend for the graduating Class of 2022 takes place on May 13\u201315.
