The University Farmers Market connects the University community to sustainable foods from local farmers. Each week, more than 20 vendors offer seasonal produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, spices, meats, and more. Market customers can meet the vendors, sample goods, and receive nutrition education and cooking tips.

The market, which is sponsored by Well-U, is part of the group’s mission to support employee health.

The grand opening was held Wednesday, March 5, and the market is open from 3 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday through May 28 (except April 2 and May 14) in Flaum Atrium at the Medical Center. Cash and credit cards are accepted by most vendors.
