Achieving Leadership Equity In Medicine: Collaboration, Innovation & the Imperative for Systemic Change 12PM-1PM, URMC Class of ’62 Auditorium
Presented by: Nancy Spector, Executive Director ELAM
In its 24 years, the ELAM program has had remarkable success with a measurable impact on the number of women in academic leadership positions. Despite this, we are still a long way from achieving equity at every level of leadership. By making critical systemic change we can accelerate the impact. In this presentation, Dr. Nancy Spector, will present novel ways to create measurable change through evidence- based and best practice approaches, including establishing policies that ensure equity, analyzing the inequities in our organizations, engaging male allies, utilizing sponsorship and using collaborations and innovative diffusion techniques through social media.
