Complete at least one academic year at URochester<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Students are eligible to go abroad as early as the summer after their first academic year.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Seniors:<\/strong> Study abroad is not permitted in the final semester of your senior year.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>2. Be in good academic standing<\/h3>\r\nStudents who have a <strong>grade point average of 2.75 or better<\/strong> are eligible to apply for URochester-sponsored programs.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Students who are on academic probation, disciplinary probation, or have disciplinary action pending against them are normally not eligible to study abroad.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>There should be no missing or incomplete grades from previous semesters.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Poor academic performance in the semester before your study abroad may jeopardize your eligibility.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Special note for transfer students and students applying to non-partnered programs<\/h3>\r\nAll University of Rochester students must meet the University's <a class=\"u-link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/college\/ccas\/handbook\/enrollment.html\">Enrollment Policy<\/a>. Be aware that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/education-abroad\/programs\/types\/\">non-partner study abroad programs<\/a> don\u2019t apply toward the Enrollment Policy.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Students who have transferred to the University need to be sure that they will be able to meet the Enrollment Policy.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>All students considering non-partnered semester study abroad programs should <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/education-abroad\/contact\/schedule-appointment\/\">discuss this with an Education Abroad Advisor<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>International students are\u00a0<em><strong>not<\/strong><\/em> eligible for Non-Partner Programs.
