To start an appeal for reconsideration of need-based financial aid, you\u2019ll need to submit:<\/strong><\/p>\n Your appeal should address changes in circumstances, unusual expenses, special situations, or additional information not already presented in your financial aid application. To start the appeal process, contact your financial aid counselor. They will go over the process and provide you with any paperwork that you need to complete (this includes the Appeal Request Form).<\/p>\n Two things to keep in mind:<\/strong><\/p>\n If you have questions or want to start the appeals process for reconsideration of an award, contact your financial aid counselor.<\/p>\n In situations where a student\u2019s parents are separated, divorced, or were never married, the Non-Custodial Profile is required in order to be considered for University of Rochester need-based grant assistance.
