What does a Day of Giving Advocate do?<\/h2>\n

As an Advocate, your role is to:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Raise awareness on social media<\/strong> \u2013 Post and share content to increase visibility and engagement. While logged in as an advocate, you should use the share buttons to generate your unique fundraising link and post on social media.<\/p>\n

Connect with your network<\/strong> \u2013 Reach out to fellow alumni, volunteers, colleagues, family, and friends via email, text, and social media.<\/p>\n

Lead by example<\/strong> \u2013 Make a donation of any amount to the areas of the University or Medical Center that you care about most. It\u2019s easier to ask your friends and family to join you in making a gift when you\u2019ve already done it![\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

How to get started<\/h2>\n

  1. \u201cLog in\u201d to your GiveCampus account or \u201csign up\u201d as an advocate.<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Once logged in, click the preset buttons at the top of the campaign page to share your unique fundraising link directly on Facebook, X (Twitter), or LinkedIn. OR, click the “Copy to Share” button to use your unique fundraising link in an email or text message.<\/li>\n
  3. For advanced options, you can visit your Advocacy Dashboard.<\/li>\n
  4. Want to advocate for a specific school or program? Navigate to that school\u2019s campaign page (e.g., School of Arts & Sciences) and click the preset sharing buttons to copy or share a unique fundraising link that goes directly to that school\u2019s page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
