Athletics

  • Rochester Athletics enjoyed great success this year on and off the field – including a national championship, many teams qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships, and numerous league championships. A total of 25 All-Americans were named, 8 Academic All- Americans, along with 15 Phi Beta Kappa honorees. Rochester had 13 teams ranked nationally in the top 25.
  • The women’s 4x400 meter relay team won the 2023 NCAA indoor title, breaking the NCAA Division III indoor record with their time of 3:44.84. This was the first relay National Championship in school history.
  • Rochester had 11 teams represented at the NCAA Championships this year: Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Field Hockey, Men’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field, Squash (Collegiate Squash Association Championships), Softball, Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field. Field Hockey, Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track, Squash, Baseball, and Softball won Liberty League titles.
