The George Eastman Circle invites you and a guest to a special Impact in Focus Luncheon in partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Research as part of Celebrating Research Week. This curated event brings together a select group of members for an intimate and engaging midday experience.
Join us for a meaningful gathering that explores how undergraduate research, faculty mentorship, and philanthropic partnership come together to create transformative academic experiences for Rochester students.
The Undergraduate Research Poster Expo serves as a vibrant showcase for students who have conducted research in the past year, offering the University community and beyond a firsthand look at their discoveries, innovations, and scholarly work across disciplines. During this hosted luncheon, guests will hear brief remarks from University leadership and student researchers before enjoying exclusive early access to the Poster Expo through a curated George Eastman Circle preview.
Why Attend:
• Hear directly from students about how research has shaped
their academic journey
•Learn how donor support expands access to hands-on research
opportunities
•Experience a private, guided preview before the full Expo opens
•Engage with students and faculty in a setting designed for
conversation and connection
This luncheon is designed to illuminate the powerful role undergraduate research plays in Rochester’s distinctive academic model — and the meaningful impact your philanthropy makes possible.
