The Next Door culinary team will create a sublime menu that combines contemporary Japanese cuisine with distinctive French accents.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Every course will be paired with one or more classic French wines. Brad Papietro and John McMahon will draw on their extensive knowledge of all French wines to select superb bottles\u2014nearly all of them \u201cbest of the best\u201d First Growths and Grand Crus\u2014to complement the menu. Flutes of Pommery Apanage Brut Champagne lead off the evening in sparkling style. A 2023 Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Burgundy (white) and a rare 2014 Chevaliers de L\u2019Arquebuse Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (red) will accompany the first two courses. The following two courses will be matched with two exceptional Bordeaux First Growths: 1986 Ch\u00e2teau Margaux (Margaux) and 1995 Ch\u00e2teau Latour (Pauillac). And for a sweet finale, the most famous dessert wine in the world: 1986 Ch\u00e2teau d\u2019Yquem (Sauternes).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Next Door First Growth\/Grand Cru Dinner is scheduled for <strong>Friday, April 16, 2027<\/strong>. Seats will be sold individually at $3,250.
