You can reference our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/benefits\/well-u\/programs-resources\/\">Well-U Programs and Resources page<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<h2>Guided Relaxation<\/h2>\n<p>Press pause in the middle of a busy workday to take a mental break. For 20 minutes you will be guided through a mindful body scan meditation exercise full of deep breathing and tension relief. <a href=\"mailto:well-u-info@rochester.edu\">Email Well-U to get access to the guided relaxation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Stress Reduction Program<\/h2>\n<p>Well-U provides no-cost stress-reduction lifestyle management programs to eligible individuals, helping to handle stressful events in ways that result in more balance, stability, and personal satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>Group program options include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stress Reduction:<\/strong> Gain practical skills around communication, goal-setting, and meditation, to manage your stress, improve your relationships, find a healthier work-life balance, and refocus your priorities. 5-session program.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction:<\/strong> Explore the studied practice of living mindfully and find out how meditation can help provide more balance, stability, and satisfaction. <em>May include a day-long silent retreat.<\/em> 6-8 session program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"u-link-external\" href=\"https:\/\/urwell.rochester.edu\/programs\/\">Learn more and sign up for a stress reduction group program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Stress-Free Zones<\/h2>\n<p>Well-U provides no-cost stress-free zone materials to departments.<\/p>\n<p>What may be included in your zone (items subject to change based on availability):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coloring materials -pages, bookmarks, colored pencils to share<\/li>\n<li>Temporary tattoos<\/li>\n<li>Fruit or vegetable shaped stress balls<\/li>\n<li>Assortment of Tea<\/li>\n<li>Fidget pea pod key chain<\/li>\n<li>Group activity \u2013 UR Meliora puzzle (one puzzle per 20 employees)<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"external-link\" title=\"Follow link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/mindfulness-jar-instructions.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mindfulness jar kits<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Mini planters<\/li>\n<li>Building block kits similar to Legos \u2013 variety of kits<\/li>\n<li>Magic Sand \u2013 moldable sand that sticks to itself and includes fun molds<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"external-link\" title=\"Follow link\" href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/dhall6\/Pictures\/mandal%20suncatcher%20kit.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mandala Suncatcher Craft Kits<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/benefits\/well-u\/programs-resources\/well-u-department-requests\/#department-request-form\">Complete a department request form<\/a> to request one of these programs for your department, and email <a href=\"mailto:well-u-info@rochester.edu\">well-u-info@rochester.edu<\/a> with questions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well-U offers a variety of programs and activities to University of Rochester employees to assist in reducing day-to-day stress.
