UR Career Pathways supports eligible employees with upfront tuition costs if required as a qualification for a designated high-demand position. When a position requires an academic degree or other formal education, the University supports associated tuition fees with direct payments to the educational institution\u2014even when the desired position is not related to the employee\u2019s current job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  1. Enhanced tuition<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For positions that require a formal degree or certification from an external education partner:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Tuition costs will be covered at 100% with no out-of-pocket expense for participants in an approved program.<\/li>\n
    • Tuition fees will be paid directly to the partnering educational institution on your behalf.<\/li>\n
    • URCP also covers required books and scrubs required for the educational program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      1. Release time<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Participants who are enrolled in a formal degree program or participating in internal training to prepare them for a high-demand position will be eligible to receive up to eight hours per week of paid release time, based on full-time equivalency (FTE) level.
