Plan Out-of-Pocket Maximums<\/h3>\r\nBeginning in 2027, all retirees enrolled in a health plan will have the same out-of-pocket maximum.\r\n\r\nThe out-of-pocket maximum for salary band 1 will no longer vary and will be the same as other bands. Please refer to the <a class=\"u-link-pdf\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/2027-health-plan-comparison.pdf\">Health Plans Comparison Chart<\/a> for the out-of-pocket maximum amounts.\r\n<h3>2. Identity Protection Plan Change<\/h3>\r\nPlease note that, effective January 1, 2027, Identity Protection benefits will transition from Allstate to Norton LifeLock. Eligibility rules apply \u2013 contact <a href=\"mailto:retireebenefits@ur.rochester.edu\">retireebenefits@ur.rochester.edu<\/a> for more information.\r\n<h2>Making Changes<\/h2>\r\n<h3>Elect, Waive, or Make a Change<\/h3>\r\n<strong>If you do not wish to make a change to your benefits, there is no action required. Your coverage will continue uninterrupted.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nIf you wish to make any change, including waiving coverage, please contact the Office of Total Rewards by phone at (585) 275-2084 or by email at <a href=\"mailto:retireebenefits@ur.rochester.edu\">retireebenefits@ur.rochester.edu<\/a>. In order for your changes to be processed for 2027, forms must be received by November 9, 2026.\r\n<h3>Reminders<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Changes to coverage made during Open Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2027.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The University offers a University-sponsored Medicare Marketplace through Via Benefits for retirees over age 65.
