You benefit from having control of the process by authorizing others access to your information. The Work Number can help you with employment verification, employment+income verification, or with employment+income verification for social service agencies.<\/p>\n<h3>I need just proof of employment without income verification<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Display and print the <a class=\"u-link-pdf\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/box1.pdf\">proof of employment form<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in your Social Security Number on the form you printed.<\/li>\n<li>Give the form to the person requesting your proof of employment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>I need proof of employment, plus income verification<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Display and print the <a class=\"u-link-pdf\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/box2.pdf\">employment verification (plus income) form<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in your Social Security Number on the form you printed.<\/li>\n<li>Access The Work Number either through their website or by phone:\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"u-link-external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theworknumber.com\/Employees\/\" rel=\"noopener\">www.theworknumber.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"tel:8003672884\">(800) 367-2884<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the Employee option and login. To login, you must have the following information:\n<ul>\n<li>University of Rochester Employer Code:\u00a0<strong>11968<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Your Employee ID Number<\/li>\n<li>Your PIN: Your PIN is an 8 digit number based on your employee id number and the year you were born. The <em>first 6<\/em> digits of your PIN are your employee number. The <em>last 2<\/em> digits of your PIN are the year you were born (i.e. 71, 56, 82 &#8230;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the \u201cCreate a Salary Key\u201d option and write down the Salary Key provided to you by The Work Number on the form you just printed.\n<ul>\n<li>The first time you login you may be prompted to reset your Pin number.
