What does an Ambulatory Technologist do?<\/h2>\r\nThe Ambulatory Technologist (Amb Tech) plays a vital role in supporting providers during patient appointments in clinics and doctors\u2019 offices. Responsibilities include escorting patients from the waiting room to the exam room, ensuring their comfort and care throughout the visit. Minimum education and experience<\/h2>\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of experience in a customer-focused\/service setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree preferred.\r\n

Knowledge, skills, and abilities<\/h2>\r\nKnowledge of medical terminology and procedures, as well as computer experience, is preferred. As the Ambulatory Technologist position will require extensive interaction with patients, strong customer service skills are necessary.\r\n

Days\/hours<\/h2>\r\nDays and hours will vary depending on location and may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.\r\n
