{"id":114572,"date":"2023-02-16T12:47:40","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T17:47:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/?p=114572"},"modified":"2023-12-18T10:43:48","modified_gmt":"2023-12-18T15:43:48","slug":"getting-ready-for-myurhr-partner-engagement-sessions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/2023\/02\/16\/getting-ready-for-myurhr-partner-engagement-sessions\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting Ready for myURHR: Partner Engagement Sessions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University recognizes that <strong>feedback from faculty and staff is vital to the success of the myURHR implementation<\/strong> and has begun engaging members of the University community in a variety of ways\u2014starting with Partner Engagement Sessions.<\/p>\n<h2>About the Sessions<\/h2>\n<p>The Partner Engagement Sessions, held earlier this month, served as important opportunities for the myURHR project team to hear additional feedback on the new Human Resources system. Session participants included those who highly utilize HRMS today to process HR transactions. Each session was focused on a key function within myURHR:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruiting<\/li>\n<li>Creating a position and requisition<\/li>\n<li>Hiring and onboarding<\/li>\n<li>Electing Benefits<\/li>\n<li>Updating Self-service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From posting an open job, to welcoming a new team member, to updating an individual\u2019s personal demographic information, the sessions enabled the project team to demonstrate, on a high level, workflows (steps and actions) that have been built so far in myURHR.<\/p>\n<p>The workflows are specific to University processes, and session participants were asked to identify critical areas or gaps that can be improved to make the system more beneficial for all departments.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the input was productive and positive. Many participants expressed appreciation for the digital myURHR workflows replacing current manual processes and time-consuming paper forms.<\/p>\n<h2>Next Steps<\/h2>\n<p>While the input was positive, there is more work to be done. The sessions highlighted the need for additional updates, steps, and notifications for certain business processes within myURHR. Over the coming weeks, the project team will analyze the feedback, suggestions, and comments, and use them to refine the system before testing begins early this summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interested in seeing the system for yourself?<\/strong> All employees will get an in-depth look at myURHR during Demo Days later this year. The new system will provide a modern technology platform that will enable efficient digital workflows and support important HR initiatives like the new job structure that is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/professional-success\/career-path-modernization\/project-committees\/\">Career Path Modernization
