Go-live for the myURHR project is approximately eight months and counting. From now until the fall, a tremendous amount of collaborative work is continuing to ensure Workday and UKG, the two systems that power myURHR, effectively meet the needs of the University\u2019s growing workforce. All faculty and staff, student workers, and other impacted University members will have access on day one to Workday and UKG.<\/p>\n

2024 Engagement Activities Timeline<\/h2>\n

Due to the broad impact of this implementation, it\u2019s important that all faculty and staff, student workers, and other University members are aware of the updated project timeline. Explore the new 2024 myURHR engagement activities timeline<\/a> for a sneak peek of what\u2019s happening now (in-depth testing continues) and what\u2019s to come (another round of Demo Days<\/a> happening this winter and spring as well as training kicking off this summer).<\/p>\n

myURHR and Current University Systems<\/em><\/h2>\n

As you may be aware, a major component of the University\u2019s HR Modernization efforts is the adoption of empowering technology and its replacement of outdated systems. The myURHR project team has been busy over the past year understanding how current systems such as UR Faculty (University\u2019s faculty information system) and JobLink (hiring system for student workers) will interact with myURHR, allow for information exchange where necessary, and support system-to-system performance.<\/p>\n

Many faculty and staff have expressed a desire to learn about myURHR\u2019s interactions with UR Faculty and JobLink. While training will provide a deeper level of knowledge, below are infographics that depict some of the working relationships between myURHR and UR Faculty, and myURHR and JobLink.<\/strong> The infographics also feature some of the functions that will happen in each individual system.<\/p>\n

Depending on roles, specific training<\/a> will be assigned to faculty and staff to help them complete tasks related to myURHR and other University systems.<\/p>\n

MyPath System<\/h3>\n

If you are wondering what happens to MyPath when myURHR is live, the answer is simple\u2014there is no change to MyPath. The University\u2019s MyPath tool will continue to be utilized for performance management, e-learnings (including some myURHR trainings), annual mandatory in-service program, and compliance-related tasks.<\/p>\n
