{"id":196222,"date":"2025-07-18T15:18:27","date_gmt":"2025-07-18T19:18:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/?p=196222"},"modified":"2025-07-18T15:19:31","modified_gmt":"2025-07-18T19:19:31","slug":"myurhr-reminder-review-org-charts-workday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/2025\/07\/18\/myurhr-reminder-review-org-charts-workday\/","title":{"rendered":"myURHR reminder: Review org charts in Workday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seven months into using our new myURHR Workday and UKG systems, the myURHR support team is continuing to provide users with helpful reminders and guidance on remaining tasks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The support team is again asking for help with reviewing and updating org charts in Workday<\/strong>, also known as supervisory organizations, to make sure each employee is assigned to the correct manager in the system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If an employee is listed under the wrong manager, the Department, Faculty, or Graduate Coordinator for your department can move them to the correct one by following the \u201cChange Job\u201d process in Workday.<\/strong> We\u2019ve made it easy with a Quick Reference Card (QRC), which you can find here: <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.rochester.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Change-Job-WD-14.pdf\"><strong>Change Job \u2013 Quick Reference Card<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>In cases where a manager doesn&#8217;t yet have a &#8220;supervisory organization&#8221; (which is required for assigning direct reports), please email\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:ask-urhr@ur.rochester.edu\"><strong>ask-urhr@ur.rochester.edu<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>with the following details so one can be set up:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Manager Name\/ID<\/strong>\u00a0(the person the employees report to)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Department<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Effective Date<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>HR Department<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Superior Organization<\/strong> (the name\/number of the organization it should report to)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for helping to keep our org structure accurate and up to date!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seven months into using our new myURHR Workday and UKG systems, the myURHR support team is continuing to provide users with helpful reminders and guidance on remaining tasks.
