Effective September 27, 2021, the University of Rochester requires all faculty and staff to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, as outlined the University\u2019s\u00a0COVID- 19 Vaccine Policy (#165)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0COVID- 19 Healthcare Provider Vaccination Policy (#164)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To begin work, employees must have either received the single Johnson & Johnson dose or at least one dose of the two-dose vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna) by September 27, with a second dose planned within the recommended interval.<\/p>\n

Candidates should be referred to\u00a0COVID- 19 Healthcare Provider Vaccination Policy (#164)<\/a>\u00a0for covered health care workers or\u00a0COVID- 19 Vaccine Policy (#165)<\/a>\u00a0for University employees, for\u00a0more information.\u00a0Candidates should also be informed that a medical or religious accommodation may be available and will be evaluated as a part of the pre-employment process.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
