This includes spouses and children under 21 years of age. Common dependent categories at the University include F-2, J-2, H-4, TD, and O-3.\r\n\r\nIf you have a dependent, please be aware that changes under Executive Order 14159 (issued January 2025) may affect their registration requirements with USCIS. While F-1 students, J-1 students and scholars, and H-1B, TN, or O-1 employees who lawfully entered the U.S. after the age of 14 with a valid I-94 are already considered registered and do not need to take further action,\u00a0<\/strong>their dependents may be subject to additional requirements. In particular, dependent children who turn 14 while in the U.S. must re-register within 30 days of their 14th birthday.
