
This report should provide Mary Lyons, Financial Administrator for Clinical and Translational Science Institute reporting based on the combination of grant and operating account pairs that are linked by the URGEMS department attribute field and FAO year field.
There are URGEMS reports that CTSI has been using such as; FAO Detail Report. Due to the nature of the work being done in CTSI, the URGEMS reports are not serving the needs of the functional leaders. They required reporting based on the combination of grant and operating account pairs that are linked by the URGEMS department attribute field and FAO year field. For example, one report would be required for department attribute ACL, which would aggregate the spending in GR500487 and OP212200.
In addition to the need for aggregation by department attribute and FAO year, these reports required formatting changes from the original FAO Detail Report. Currently there are about 25 pairs and an additional 10 grants (approximately) that are pilots that are not paired up with an OP. So, the report is broken down into two; one to pull information by department attribute that aggregates the paired FAOs and another report to pull information by FAO that is not paired up with OP or GR and sums up all the direct cost related to that FAO.
1. Current Year Budget and Spending To Date
This report sums up total direct costs; Salary, Non-Salary, and Fringe Benefits when prompted by fiscal year, department attribute, and/or FAO.
2. Current Year Budget and Spending To Date by FAO
This report sums up total direct costs; Salary, Non-Salary, and Fringe Benefits when prompted by fiscal year and FAO. User can get the total direct costs related to the entered FAO for that fiscal year with different department attributes.
This report is sourced from data warehouse URGEMS Ad hoc package. Materialized view is being refreshed twice daily in production at 11 PM and 12:30 PM, it takes approximately 20 minutes to refresh the view.
