Off Broadway On Campus (OBOC) will present " . . . And All That Jazz,"
the student group's annual fall revue, at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in Strong
Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus.
The performance of song and dance will include numbers from such musicals as
Chicago, Les Miserables, Children of Eden, and more.
OBOC was formed in 1997 by a few talented and motivated undergraduates. Each
semester since then, the student-directed group has performed fall and spring
shows spotlighting a variety of Broadway musical hits to an ever-increasing
crowd. OBOC now consists of more than 50 performing members. In addition to
selecting the songs for each program, members are responsible for costumes,
set design, lighting, and the choreography of each number.
Admission will be $5 for the general public and $4 for University students,
faculty, and staff. Tickets are being sold at the Common Market in Wilson Commons
on the River Campus and at the door on the night of the event.
