The Wild Man -- world premiere of a new play based on a turn-of-the-century melodrama for the Yiddish theater. Written by New York City playwright Howard Marc Solomon and presented by the International Theater Program of the University of Rochester, The Wild Man explores the repressed passions and obsessions of a middle-class family in Odessa which lead to explosive and tragic results. Directed by Nigel Maister; set and costume design by Holly Laws; music and sound design by Obadiah Eaves.
Plays December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 at 8 p.m.; December 6 at 3 p.m. in Todd Theater on the University of Rochester River Campus.
Tickets: $8 general admission; $7 for faculty, staff, and seniors; and $5 for students. Group rates are available. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or by calling (585) 275-4088.
