Local members of the University of Rochester Class of 1950 will hold a reception with President Thomas Jackson and honor 1994-95 Koller-Diez Centennial Scholarship recipients at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 30 in the Faculty Club on the River Campus.
The scholarship for undergraduate students honors two former professors, the late Kathrine Koller Diez and William Diez. Students Matthew Allen, Holly Arrigoni, and Christopher Johnson are this year's recipients.
Hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6 p.m., and President Jackson will give a presentation at 7 p.m., followed by dessert and coffee.
The reception is open to members of the Class of 1950. A contribution of $10 is requested. Call the Alumni Association, (585) 273-5888, for more information.
