The Hartnett Gallery, which is located in Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester River Campus, will be exhibiting "Permeated Room," works by local artist Becky Simmons, from Monday, April 19 through Sunday, May 9.
The exhibition displays Simmons' recent work with sculpture dealing with the play between the organic and man-made. Many small sculptures appear to sprout and fall from the walls, transforming the gallery into a softer environment that is awakening with growth and birth.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Wilson Commons Information Desk at (585) 275-5911.
