TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester River Campus.
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public Note: parking is available on University lots after 7 p.m. weeknights and all weekend.
The University of Rochester Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by James Ripley, assistant professor of conducting and ensembles, will present a concert at 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus.
The program includes Fugue in C by Ives; J.S. Bach's O Mensch, Bewein Dein Sunde Gross; Smit's Banners and Pennants; Seigmeister's Front Porch Saturday Night; Royal Coronation Dances by Margolis; and Konagaya's Japanese Tune.
The concert is free and open to the public. Please contact the College Department of Music at (585) 275-2828 at least five days in advance to request any special accommodations.
