Ten lectures on the religion of Judaism, given by Professor William Green of the University of Rochester, are included in "Greatest Lectures by America's Superstar Teachers," the latest catalog of the Teaching Company.
The firm provides audio and video tapes of lectures given by "the most compelling and charismatic university lecturers in the country," based on student evaluations.
Green's lectures, "God and God's People: The Religion of Judaism," trace Judaism's intellectual, cultural, and musical traditions.
Green is professor of religion, the Philip S. Bernstein Professor of Judaic Studies, and dean of undergraduate studies at Rochester.
The Teaching Company is based in Springfield, Va.
