The William T. Grant Foundation has awarded $495,994 to Prof. Dante Cicchetti and the Mt. Hope Family Center for a project entitled "Childhood Maltreatment, Community Violence, and Pathways to Adaptation: Risk and Resilience in the Adolescent Years."
The Foundation also has awarded $192,193 to Professor Judith Smetana at the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development for a study entitled "Adolescent-Parent Relationships and Development of Autonomy in Adolescence."
Over the past several years, the Foundation has supported many research projects at the University, making awards in excess of $3.5 million.
