The next "Wilson Commons Wednesday" will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 19 in Wilson Commons with a theme celebrating the fall harvest. The menu specialties will include carved turkey, London broil, mashed sweet potatoes with roasted garlic, and pumpkin cheesecake, prepared by the Association for the Development of Interest in the Indian Subcontinent (ADITI). Lunch tickets will be available for purchase on site.
The event will feature entertainment by singer/guitarist Rose Polenzani, vendor showcases by Small Indulgence Jewelry and Tastefully Simple, Mehndi body art done by ADITI, and free samples from Tupperware and Tastefully Simple. This monthly program is sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities and Dining Services.
Next month's "Wilson Commons Wednesday" will take place on Dec. 3, highlighting the celebration of the holiday season. The entire UR community is invited to attend and enjoy the music, food, and a friendly atmosphere.
