A St. Patrick's Day celebration will be the theme of the next "Wilson Commons Wednesdays" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 17 in the Hirst Lounge.
The East Rochester Celtic Music Society will perform traditional and contemporary Irish music live from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Vendors and local businesses will also be on site.
The lunch menu consists of bangers (Irish sausage) with caramelized onions, carved corn beef, red cabbage cole slaw, smashed red potatoes with cheddar and chives, braised cabbage, and bread pudding.
The celebration of "Wilson Commons Wednesdays" is sponsored by Student Activities and Dining Services as a joint effort to engage the entire University community—faculty and staff as well as students—in enjoying an original and festive atmosphere in Wilson Commons on the River Campus.
