A screening of L'auberge espagnole, a well-received film about a group of students sharing an apartment while studying abroad, will highlight the next "Food and Film Night" sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures.
The event provides an opportunity for students to reminisce about their own overseas experiences and for students considering language study or study abroad to learn more about available programs.
The evening starts at 5 p.m. in Meliora 203 with a showing of L'auberge espagnole (The Spanish Apartment), a 2002 film from French writer and director Cedric Klapisch. The movie follows a French economics student who comes to Barcelona on an exchange program and lives with other students from Germany, Italy, Denmark, England, and Spain.
The film will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity for informal discussions at 7 p.m. For more information, contact the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, x5-4251.
