For the seventh year, Mt. Hope Family Center will host a golf tournament to help support its therapeutic programs for at-risk children and families in the community. The tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Eagle Vale Golf Course, 4344 Nine Mile Point Road in Fairport.
The Mt. Hope Family Center Golf Classic was started by Fred and Marianne Borrelli and Dave and Anne Morrell, and was previously named the Borrelli-Morrelli Golf Classic. This year, the name was changed to show the strong connection between the tournament and Mt. Hope Family Center. The golf classic is a major fundraiser for Mt. Hope and its programs. The Borrellis and the Morrells are still very much a part of the tournament and will be recognized this year for their outstanding contributions.
For $85, golfers can enjoy a full day of golf, meals, an auction, and more than 50 raffle prizes. Both golfers and non-golfers may attend the event. Those interested in dinner only can join the festivities for $25 a person. The deadline for registration is Sept. 13. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
