“Wilson Commons Wednesdays” promises holiday spirit for the fourth event of the school year. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the Hirst Lounge in Wilson Commons, guests will be serenaded with music performed by the Eastman String Quartet while enjoying a meal presented by special guest chefs from the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.
This event’s menu of holiday classics includes pear walnut salad, chestnut stuffing, cinnamon roasted pork loins, stuffed portabello mushrooms, and apricot crunch. There will also be samples on hand from Tastefully Simple Gourmet Foods, Open Face Sandwich Eatery, and Panera Bread Company. In addition, raffles will be held by the Record Archive and the Open Face Sandwich Eatery, while DVDs and CDs will be available for purchase.
“Wilson Commons Wednesdays” is sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities and Dining Services. All members of the University community are invited to attend and take advantage of the music, food, and friendly atmosphere.
