The spring semester of "Wilson Commons Wednesdays" kicks off on Jan. 12 with a "Fiesta Mexicana" theme.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Hirst Lounge. The lunch menu includes Mexican greens, Santa Fe rice, vegetarian black bean peppers, Mexican stuffed flank steak, fiesta biscuits, and pumpkin bars. Music will be provided by Lo Tipico.
In addition, there will be free samples and gift certificate raffles from Salena's Mexican Restaurant, Coca-Cola, and Bristol Mountain resort. The celebration of "Wilson Commons Wednesdays" is sponsored by Student Activities and Dining Services as a joint effort to engage the entire University community—faculty and staff as well as students—in enjoying an original and festive atmosphere in Wilson Commons.
