A St. Patrick's Day celebration will be the theme of the next "Wilson Commons Wednesdays" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on March 16 in the Hirst Lounge.
The Celtic Music Society from East Rochester High School will perform traditional and contemporary Irish music. There will be giveaways of Irish foods and a raffle for gift certificates to Nathaniel's Pub.
The lunch menu consists of salmon, carved corn beef, parsley potatoes and carrots, braised cabbage, vegetarian Irish stew, and soda bread.
The celebration of "Wilson Commons Wednesdays" is sponsored by Student Activities and Dining Services as a joint effort to engage the entire University community—faculty and staff as well as students—in enjoying an original and festive atmosphere in Wilson Commons on the River Campus.
