University of Rochester programs in physics, medicine, business, and engineering were among those listed in a variety of top graduate and professional program rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report. The magazine issue with rankings goes on newsstands Monday.
The College's Ph.D physics program in the "atomic/molecular" specialty was listed 7th.
The School of Medicine and Dentistry was ranked 30th overall among medical schools, and its primary care program was ranked 11th best among primary care medical schools.
The William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration was ranked 23rd.
The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences was ranked 50th.
