TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, now through Friday, Dec. 16, in Hartnett Gallery in Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester's River Campus.
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public
Camille Geraci, a regional artist, will have her work featured at Hartnett Gallery in Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester's River Campus from now through Friday, Dec. 16, in an exhibition titled "Contain, Define, Organize, Preserve."
Geraci's interests in the workings or mechanics of memory are reflected in her artwork as the construction of objects functioning as memory machines. She collects discarded items, such as furniture, and juxtaposes them with previous creations, including photographs or hand-sewn articles.
The hours for Hartnett Gallery are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For information, please call (585) 275-4188 during gallery hours.
