The University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus.
The concert program features George Gershwin's Cuban Overture; Symphony No. 1 in D Major, Titan by Gustav Mahler; and W.A. Mozart's Concerto in G Major, Movement 1, with flautist Ellen Dombrowski, a senior and a winner of this year's concerto competition.
Directed by David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities, the University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra is a combined student and community member ensemble that has presented quality concerts free to the community for 47 years.
