TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: Now through Saturday, Feb. 18, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; noon to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday in the Gallery at the Art & Music Library, located on the ground floor of Rush Rhees Library on the University of Rochester's River Campus.
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public.
ARTIST'S RECEPTION: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, in the gallery.
Belinda Bryce's traveling solo show of paintings, bronze castings, and mixed media bring together many of her mini-series that revolve around icons of femininity, such as women's torsos and dresses. More than 30 of her pieces are on display.
Bryce, a Rochester painter and printmaker, is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned a diploma in printmaking and a master of fine arts degree in painting. She has taught at RIT's School of Art. Her work has appeared in both national and international juried shows.
