ADMISSION: Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for the general public, on sale at the Common Market in Wilson Commons on the River Campus or at the door
The student-run a cappella group the University of Rochester Yellowjackets will showcase its talent at the 21st Annual Midwinter Jamboree. The all-male group is one of the oldest performing groups on campus, founded in 1956 as a subset of the Men's Glee Club. The group has performed at a number of locations including the White House, Disney World in Germany and Japan, and on The Tonight Show. The 14 members of the group are currently preparing for their spring break tour in California. The group's most recent CD, "Fourteen," was released in 2004 and includes big band hits, a cappella standards, and original arrangements and compositions.
