The University of Rochester's only musical theater performance group, Off Broadway On Campus (OBOC), will present "The Bright Side of Life" as the theme of this year's fall revue.
The group will perform selections from old and current musicals, including "Luck be a Lady" from Guys and Dolls, "Wedding Day" from The Wedding Singer, "Finale B" from Rent, "A New World" from Songs for a New World, and "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from Monty Python's Spamalot.
OBOC produces a full-length musical theater review each semester. The student-directed group draws sold-out crowds and is one of the largest ensembles on campus. In addition to performing, group members direct, choreograph, and design the sets and costumes for each song.
