Charles Phelps, provost of the University of Rochester, will speak on trends in long-term health care on Wednesday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Faculty Club at the University of Rochester.
Before becoming provost in 1994, Phelps was professor of community and preventive medicine and chair of that department in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. He also was professor of political science and of economics on the River Campus. He continues to teach a course in health economics.
Phelps' talk is the first in a spring series of free lectures sponsored by the Alumni Association. Complimentary dessert and coffee will follow the talk, and free parking will be available in the Library Lot.
