A Xerox executive, a Rochester businessman, and a New York City physician are joining the University of Rochester's Board of Trustees as of the 2002-03 year:
· Ursula Burns is senior vice president at Xerox and president of the document systems and solutions group for the company. Since joining Xerox in 1980 as a mechanical engineering summer intern, Burns has held several administrative and executive positions. In 1997, she was featured by Black Enterprise magazine as one of 20 women who have broken race and gender barriers to become senior executives in industry. The holder of a mechanical engineering degree from Polytechnic Institute of New York and a master's degree from Columbia University, Burns has also served as a member of the University of Rochester Medical Center Board. She is a resident of Brighton.
· Michael Jones '76 is cofounder, president, and chief investment officer of Clover Capital Management, a Pittsford, N.Y.-based investment advisory firm with approximately $2 billion in client assets under management. Jones earned a joint bachelor's degree in biology and psychology, and worked in the real estate and investment industry before founding Clover Capital in 1984. He also has served on the University's Medical Center Board.
· Dr. Nathaniel Wisch '55, past president of the Trustees' Alumni Council of the College, is a hematologist-oncologist in private practice in New York. He also is an associate clinical professor of medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, an adjunct professor of medicine at New York University, and chief of hematology and medical oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital. Wisch, who resides in New York City, was active in planning the University's sesquicentennial celebration as well as the Parents' Council and in coordinating reunion efforts. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University.
