The term bill for most students at the University of Rochester will increase by 4.2 percent next year.
Tuition in 1995-96 will be $18,730, an increase of 5 percent. The average room and board cost will be $6,730, a 2.2 percent increase.
The tuition increase is the smallest percentage increase at the University in 22 years.
Tuition for Simon School students will be $19,950, a 4.6 percent increase; for Eastman School students, $17,000, a 4.9 percent increase; and for medical students at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, $22,700, a 5.6 percent increase.
