TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in Douglass Dining Center on the University of Rochester's River Campus. The show starts at 8 p.m.
ADMISSION: ADMISSION: $12 for University undergraduates and $17 for the public. Tickets can be purchased at the Common Market in Wilson Commons, at the door, and Lakeshore Records on Park Avenue (convenience fee may apply).
Gym Class Heroes is a four-member alternative hip-hop band from Geneva, N.Y. Founding members Travis McCoy and Matt McGinley became friends in their high school gym class. Later in 2001, the band released its first record. They are best known for their songs "Cupid's Chokehold" and "The Queen and I."
