TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Hirst Lounge in Wilson Commons on the University of Rochester's River Campus
ADMISSION: Free. All volunteers are welcome.
The annual PB JAM is an event that encourages University students, faculty, and staff to make more than 800 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for those in need. JAM also stands for Jewish Awareness Month, which begins at the University with the PB Jam and continues throughout April.
The event, organized by UR Hillel Jewish Community, serves several local shelters, such as the Open Door Mission, the Salvation Army, St. Joseph's House, St. Peter's Kitchen, and Togetherness in Love Community.
